To make up for hopeless depression and feelings of being a useless piece of shit of the day before, I went on a 5 hour long (11 mile) hike. Woke up really early (7:15, not that early), made myself a cup of tea and left at 7:35. Actually made me feel so much better, though. It felt good to be outside the three streets of my town and passing through some beautiful nature I'd never seen before.

Got back at 2, helped out my friend who needed some people to model sustainable Halloween costumes. So that was fun, and also made me feel like I was doing something to help the environment, so I felt productive and not-useless.

What else... talked to my mom, mostly just hang out with friends. Whenever I overthink things I feel myself feeling more useless, so I'll stop there. But I think, overall, when I went to bed last night, I felt that I had had a useful day.
